RETURNS POLICY
As a valued client of Emerson Studios, we would like to thank you for your purchase. At Emerson Studios, we focus on creating contemporary designs with a commitment to craftsmanship and elegance.
In the instance that you may need to return one of your items, the following terms and conditions apply to all purchases made online at emersonstudios.com.au.
FULL-PRICE ITEMS
Full-price items purchased online are eligible for a refund, store credit, or exchange within 14 days of dispatch. For refunds, the items must be returned to our online warehouse for processing.
SALE ITEMS
Sale items purchased online are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds or credit notes. Exchanges are accepted within 14 days of dispatch, provided the item is unworn, in original condition, and with tags attached.
Any items returned outside of these terms will be sent back at the customer’s expense.
PRIVATE SALE
Items purchased during a Private Sale using a promotional code are final sale and are not eligible for refunds. We are pleased to offer exchange or store credit only, provided items are returned within 14 days of dispatch and meet our returns criteria.
DISCOUNT CODES
Orders placed using a discount code are also considered final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind, including refunds, credit notes, or exchanges, unless required by law.
CONDITIONS OF RETURN
Emerson Studios does not cover the cost of any returns, including international returns. All return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
To ensure your return is processed smoothly, the following conditions must be met:
- The goods must be received by our online warehouse within 14 days of dispatch.
- Item(s) must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. Be mindful of makeup or perfume transfer on garments, as we cannot accept these returns.
- All tags must remain attached, and original packaging should be intact.
- Items purchased for commercial or rental use will not be accepted for return, exchange, or store credit.
- Gift cards cannot be returned.
Emerson Studios reserves the right to reject returns that do not comply with these conditions and are subject to alterations in line with our return policy.
ONLINE RETURNS/EXCHANGE PROCESS
Returning or exchanging your item is simple. Once your return request is approved, you'll receive a prepaid shipping label and further instructions via email.
- Submit your return request via our Returns Portal.
- Once approved, you’ll receive a return label and instructions.
- Carefully repackage your item in its original condition.
Once received and inspected, your exchange, store credit, or refund will be processed.
Please allow up to 5 business days from the date your return is received for processing.
Emerson Studios does not cover the cost of any returns, including international returns. All return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected by Customer Care, we will process your refund within seven business days. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, and processing times may vary depending on your payment provider. If a gift card was used, the balance will be restored onto a new Digital Gift Card before other payment methods are refunded.
EXCHANGES
We offer exchanges on full-price items for different sizes or products, subject to availability. We will contact you via email or phone if your desired item is out of stock. Instant exchanges can also be requested through our Contact Us page, or by emailing customercare@emersonstudios.com.au for immediate processing.
Please note: Emerson Studios does not cover the cost of international exchanges. Any costs incurred are to be paid by the customer.
ONLINE STORE CREDIT
Once your return has been approved and processed, store credit will be automatically applied to your customer account.
To use your store credit:
- Log in to your account before checking out.
- At checkout, your available credit will appear and apply automatically to your order total.
- If your order exceeds the credit amount, you can pay the remaining balance using your preferred payment method.
Your store credit has no expiry and can be used across all full-price and promotional purchases (excluding gift cards).
CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS
If you need to cancel or change your order, please Contact Us, or email customercare@emersonstudios.com.au as soon as possible. Orders that have already been shipped cannot be cancelled.
QUALITY GUARANTEE
All Emerson Studios purchases are covered by guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order, including photos and a description of the issue. Depending on the severity of the defect, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund.
